Brady Joins the Family
He’s here. We have been talking about adding a new member to our Goldendoodle family for quite some time now. I’ve mentioned it in other posts and on social media. At last, the time has come. We are happy to introduce the newest member of our family, Brady. As a family, we chose the name “Brady” because we are huge Tom Brady fans.
Brady is an adorable F1B Goldendoodle. An F1B Goldendoodle is a cross of an F1 Goldendoodle and a Poodle. He may be small now but, he will most likely weight between 25 and 30 lbs. when he is fully grown. Brady’s breeder, Coleen of Diamond Doodles was very helpful. She ensured Brady’s moving process was very smooth and drama-free.
Brady had a journey from Joplin, MO to Atlanta. It was there that we picked him up. Brady was erratic at the Airport Hilton. He was so noisy on the night we stayed there. We thought for sure the security would be called on us. The trip back down to Fort Lauderdale was surprisingly smooth. The airline, Delta, allowed Brady to stay with us and he was very well behaved for the duration of the flight.
A Perfect Fit
The transition may have been smooth but, getting a new puppy acclimated into a new environment is always a challenge. Otis, our faithful Goldendoodle pal of 12 years, has been the canine master of our domain for 12 years. Bringing Brady home into his domain is a challenge for him, too. Otis is still getting used to having a brother in the house. He is noticeably adjusting his attitude and we are helping him learn to share the limelight. With time, Brady and Otis will become best buds. Until then, we’ll take all the help we can get to make sure Otis and Brady are acquainted positively. This YouTube video was very helpful.
We are very happy to have Brady join the Myerow family and, it shows:
